- [Narrator] Test preparation tips. As I said before, all the questions in the reading part of the TOEIC test are multiple choice with four possible answers. This means that you should always choose an answer, even if you are not sure that it's correct. This way, you'll have at least a 25% chance of success. Don't leave any questions blank as there are no penalties for incorrect answers. Out of the four possible answers, only one answer is correct, so don't mark more than one. The other three answers may be completely wrong or they may just be slightly different. If you are unsure, try eliminating anything that's obviously wrong first, before focusing on the two most probable answers. This strategy alone can increase your chances of success.
